Krealcaline Vs Creatine

Day 13: New York, New York

Monday, January 24.
We start looking for a bus stop in the sun, cold, snow and pollution, as the hotel is near a very busy road ... And unfortunately, we do not find access to the bus stop ... So we returned, breathless from the exhaust. It rechecks on Google map, and we realize that there is a lag of several tens of meters between the image and not ask ... We will be starting out, but going in the opposite direction, and then finally found the road leading to the arrest, there is nevertheless a sacred hill, and all sidewalks are not plowed ...
A bus arrives, not at all like we expected, but I wonder if he goes to the bus station in NYC and as it goes, it goes up. No need to pay at the entrance is at the outlet that it is ... Yet a different system: p

We're now in the Lincoln tunnel to arrive in New York City, the Port Authority bus station, which communicates with a station Metro. There they stood in line to buy a Metro Card, which allows to make several round trips, etc.. with a single card. While waiting for an old man trying, as in France, eating away at everyone by going directly to his question at the counter ... Bah there by cons, it does not happen like in France ... The guy's window told him to go stand in line like everyone else ... : D Well sent!
Our turn comes, too funny the jailer, who was eating his chips speaking into his microphone intercom: D In short, we enter the subway with our Metro Card and we are heading south to Manhattan to see one of the houses where Poe lived in NYC (another being closed for renovation ). The subway drops us off to the side and let's go!
I did not know you could visit, but only on Thursday morning, being Monday ... not possible. I have a brick
this house when the front has been redone, they were put on sale.

Then we take the subway just to get to Park Row, at the time Row Publishers, publishers of the neighborhood, where Poe worked in several magazines in New York:

124 Fulton St / Nassau St. Formerly The Sun.

105 Nassau St. Formerly The Evening Mirror and The Weekly Mirror.

107 Nassau St (we do not see it because it was razed). Formerly Sunday Times and Weekly Newspaper.

138 Nassau St. Formerly The Broadway Journal.

Other buildings seemed to no longer exist, like the old Sunday Times ...
It was a little walk in the streets of New York City, then seeing a university bookstore, it stops there for see the books (:)) and to get warm because it was very cold as well ... (You've seen here : 19 ° F. .. so -7.22 ° C) is a student asks us for help getting a book perched high, so my man gives me a leg up for grab the book.
At the exit of the library (where I did not for once bought a book: p), a couple asked us where is the Gold Street (one must have a head of New York, it's not possible) ; as we went past a little earlier and we had a plan in hand, we showed them where this street was so called golden: D
Then we we go into a Starbucks Coffee (yes, our favorite!) to eat, drink and hot to warm. Facing the window, we also observe the street, the indigenous yellow cabs and snow.

As Ground Zero (former World Trade Center) is just next door we go. It is being rebuilt!

Then Wall Street executive, who did nothing Folichon, apart from its other statues and reliefs.

We are cold, it is too late to go see the Statue of Liberty (entries close at 15h), so we decide to return. Subway station, no plan, no hand. We enter one of them passes the turnstile with our Metro Card is there, you realize that this metro does not go back to the north ... Pfff, 2 trips for nothing, you come out and you change the station, we found a greater serving more stations, including the bus station, phew!
Their metro is not very well at the signage, maps and other information.
At the bus station, I call the center that deals with the expo Edgar Allan Poe, The New York Years , whether, by appointment, you can come visit the next day ... But they say no, that week is only for groups (like school for example) and must return on Saturday ... But on Saturday we will be in France, as I say ... In short, not possible: /
With that, we take a bus to go and we're back to warm.

At Wendy's, my husband chose a burger funny name: The Baconator: D
