Lelay Marie, French TV presenter and her boyfriend (who works with her to France Television * n) are on vacation, she did some souvenir shopping before leaving, but a tsunami devastates everything and wins and many others in its colossal water. She drowns and sees the silhouettes in the dark. Suddenly, she is brought back to life. Since it is not really the same.
In San Francisco, George's brother brings him one of his clients for a meeting. We discover that this is a particular meeting where it comes into contact with the near dead. George does not want to do this kind of thing because it prevents him from living normally. He also stopped working for this successful business in a warehouse. Also, he took cooking classes, in parallel, and meets a pretty young woman very curious.
Jason and Marcus are twins, one is unraveled and talkative, the other a little awkward and shy. Their mother is an alcoholic addict and social services closely monitor the family. One morning, their mother decides to drop out of heroin and asked one of his son to get a drug. Jason goes, but to return, he gets sued by a band of thugs and gets hit by a van. Marcus is destroyed.
So begins the film, the fate of these three characters and their common currency, communication with the beyond, will be what drives them forward. Mary wants to know more and tell the world what he is after. George would no longer have this gift / curse to have a normal life. Marcus wants to find his brother.
But alone, they fail to meet their goal ...
very dramatic scenes good tour, dubbed VF sometimes a bit limited ... the movie seems long to start, but in fact it really takes off from the tsunami that is just a few minutes after the start. While the movie is the unfolding of the destiny of these three characters up to their "healing" until they reach their goal: Mary: find someone who understands it, George, find love Marcus, have contact with his brother to continue to live without him.
